Mobility to the immobile PWDs- Free Distribution of Wheel Chairs

“Better mobility is key to the social and economic inclusion of persons with disabilities”.

The social aim of our interventions is to facilitate PWD’s to integrate disabled people into society in order to take an active part in society and lead a normal life. To enable them to be active, independentand to commute between home, work and other destinations, we have distributed 400 Wheel Chairsto the most deserving people in provinces of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh Viz., Hyderabad, Kadapa, Nalgonda, Guntur, Mahbubnagar, Mangalagiri, Ponnur, Visakhapatnam, etc.

With this Free Distribution of wheelchair, it has improved the access and are using as an Assistive Devices for their Mobility to move around places. These movements are improving the quality of life for people for these immobile PWDs. This project was highly appreciated by the District Collectors & Magistrates of the Districts and General Public, as well as beneficiaries. This programme was supportedby “Free Wheel Chair Mission”
